Hot and humid weather is common in North Georgia during June and July. To manage these conditions: Full-day campers will spend part of each day indoors to escape the heat and sun. Frequent water and rest breaks will be provided, with breaks taken in shaded areas.
The coaching staff uses DTN WeatherSentry to track severe weather, with an onsite Warning Lamp and text alerts notifying them of local threats. If storms occur, campers will be safely moved indoors until conditions allow a safer return to the field.
