Hello! My name is Lynn Gameson, and I'm the tall potato! I'm a freshman at Klein High School with a passion for pursuing a career in anesthesiology. I'm actively involved in several extracurriculars, including HOSA (currently serving as the social intern), Key Club, and Band. Being part of the Positive Potatoes team during my first year competing has taught me the value of dedication, teamwork, and perseverance— a lesson that not only drives my personal growth but also helps lift others to success. I have a drive to push past my limits, ignite inspiration in others, and embrace challenges as I enter the world of medicine. In light of this, I strive to not only grow as a student, but as a future healthcare professional who uplifts those around me. I know that with passion, every opportunity becomes a stepping stone— each one used to bring light to a brighter world.
Hi there! My name is Mahnoor Shaharyar, and I'm the short potato! I'm a freshman attending Klein High School, and my dream career is a pediatric anesthesiologist! The clubs I'm associated with at Klein High include HOSA, Red Cross Club, KIT Club, and Key Club. Next year, as a sophomore, I plan to start a chapter of a club, be a Red Cross officer, and HOSA intern, along with plenty of APs classes. Creating the Positive Potatoes through HOSA has helped me understand how significant mental health is in our society and the effects it has on students, and it even helped me improve my mental view of body image!
