The official chartered club was started by a group of 55+ residents at Sun City Shadow Hills. They were inspired by the movie Poms starring Diane Keaton and a similar group at one of the Sun City communities in Arizona. The Pomettes of Sun City Shadow Hills is the only senior pom team we know of in California.

Membership is open to seniors (age 55+) who are residents of Sun City Shadow Hills. We are always open to both Performance Team members and Supporting Members.
