Relevant military regulations for the use of Pokemon in combat

The SAS use certain legal pokemon in their ranks such as Noivern, Rhydon, Audino and Houndoom.
TF141 in general do not use pokemon in their ranks in most cases, but some members do have their own partner pokemon.

Typical use of pokemon include:
Noivern - High speed recon and aerial attacks
Rhydon - Breaching, heavy lifting and general infiltration
Houndoom - Literal firepower and Search and Rescue
Audino - Medical assistance

Military regulations in regards to illegal pokemon use in combat

Pokemon not approved for use in the military are labeled as 'Illegal pokemon'. This list includes the following:
- Any baby or non-fully evolved pokemon
- Any endangered pokemon species (Fossil pokemon, any pokemon found in safari zones)
- Any legendary or mythical pokemon
- Any Psychic or Dark types with mind controlling abilities
- Any Poison or Bug types that could be used in biological warfare
- Any pokemon with human level intelligence that has not consented to military service

Pokemon with specific regulations against them:
- Zoroark  due to ethical concerns regarding their illusion ability and human level intelligence
- Malamar due to it's antagonistic nature, mind control abilities and human level intelligence

These rules apply to the SAS, British and American military specifically, other military may have differing rules.

Miscellaneous Information

Pokemon Inspection Agency
The Pokemon Inspection Agency, or PIA for short, is an agency who's purpose is to ensure pokemon facilities are run ethically and are up to current code regulations. They typically visit pokemon gyms and pokemon centers but have investigated the military in the past due to questionable treatment of pokemon.

Team Rocket
Team Rocket are a criminal syndicate founded in Tokyo Japan. While its main focus is stealing or capturing rare and strong Pokémon, and subsequently selling them, it also funds and conducts cruel experimental research on Pokémon. Team Rocket is an active threat.

Cipher
Cipher is a criminal syndicate founded in Arizona USA, They are known for their research and creation of  Shadow Pokémon, Pokémon who have had their emotions removed, turning them into soulless fighting machines. Cipher is considered a highly dangerous terrorist group but is believed to be disbanded.

The Aether Foundation
The Aether Foundation was founded in the Alola region with the intention to protect and heal injured Pokémon. Despite its noble goals, the organization is a known front to cover up ethically dubious pokemon experimentation. The Aether Foundation has several pokemon reserves where pokemon are rehabilitated before being released back into the wild.
