Santina Duarte is a MSc student in the Integrated Program of Neuroscience at McGill University in Montreal QC. Originally from Calgary, AB, Santina has recently moved out of her childhood home to continue her neuroscience research exploring neuroplastic mechanisms in mental health. In exploring neuronal alterations when facing adversaties such as stress in mice - Santina also explores her own period of neuroplasticity as she navigates living on her own for the first time.
