How to add map?
Maps are custom uploaded or drawn.
Acquire an existing floor plan of your home, use a LiDAR based floor plan app, or draw your own floor plan.
A map must be added before plants can be visible. The Terms of Services must be read and agreed before uploading a map. Uploaded maps are at your own risk. Any loss of data is up to the user. Setting up FaceID to lock the App is necessary.
Once a map is drawn or uploaded, it must be chosen (grey box picked) and saved. Return back to see map.

If you upload a map that is a different aspect ratio as your original map, your markers may shift slightly.
Go to the Reposition Map in Settings and adjust the X and Y scale at the bottom slowly, unless the center of the map was changed, shifting the map is unnecessary until the very end. If you wish to only use these scale for a certain device, you can press "Done Repositioning" and the scale will save for that device. If you wish to bake in the new scale into the positoin of the plant markers permanently, you can press "Save scale".

Generate Export Data to Backup
You must purchase the Master Gardener before you can use this feature. Once you buy it, you can press the Generate export data button, it will create a backup of all your plants. Then you must press the share button to choose who to share it with. Please be very careful where you share this or save this as it may contain your sensitive information. Use at your own risk. The floor plan image is NOT backed up (here or to iCloud) due to privacy reasons. You will need to share it back it up separately.
To import, unzip the zipped file to a location that is accessible to The Plant Map. You can usually do this by just tapping on the zipped file. In the unzipped folder, there should a folder of images and another file.
To import you go to Settings, then Import. Locate that file in the unzipped folder and click on it. Return out of Settings and the plants should appear on a map. If no map is present, you must first upload a map and then the plants will appear. You can reposition the markers using the Settings -> Reposition Map button.
Shapes
Custom shapes are available to both Hobbyist who have unlocked 25 plants or Master Gardeners who have unlocked unlimited plants. Along with Shapes, included with these bundles are Cloud Group Snooze and ability to backup for the Master Gardeners.
Care Tasks
Care task 1 is set to Fertlize by default. Care Task 1 is the only task where the checkboxes are present at all times in the watering history. Other checkboxes can be edited when enabling the pencil edit button besides each row.
Care tasks can be edited or deleted in the Care Task window for each plant. Each plant has its own individual care tasks, but fertilize is auto populated.
Grouped fertilize - the feature will arrive soon.
Outline colors
You can enable custom colors in Settings - Color Scheme - Enable Custom Colors
This custom color will replace the color of the plant when it is not in a watering threshold and after the blue 24 hour outline.
When plants are past their 100% threshold, they will begin to flash Orange. This cannot be removed, you must just change the interval to a longer time to avoid this. Or you can apply a boost if you do not wish for the increase to the interval to be permanent.
Boost days
Essentially 'snooze days'. They increase the interval between waterings, snoozing the watering date to a later date. Tap the number on the dial or swipe finger on dial to change the boost day amount.
If the number of plants you have is over your limit, you may only be able to edit the number of plants you have unlocked. Unlock your garden for a very cheap price to free your mental capacity completely.
Cloudy Days Snooze
Some weeks, it might just rain every day or for half the week. In these scenarios, instead of increasing the boost to each affected plants, you can use the Cloudy Days function, included for all bundle purchases.
Go to Settings - Advanced: Cloudy Days. Ensure you've purchased a bundle and then enable the toggle.
Then you must choose which plants you want as 'heavily weather affected' so that if it does rain for several days, these are the plants that will not require as much watering. (Most plants with small - medium amounts of soil that also sit next to a window tend to be the best candidates)
To choose a plant:
Click on a plant and scroll down to where it says "Weather affected" and enable. Repeat for each desired plant.
When you wish to implement a grouped snooze for all the plants, click the cloud button at the bottom of the main map screen. (Only visible when Cloud Snooze is enabled in Settings)
Then choose 1, 2, or 3x. 1x applies a cloud snooze to all affected plant. A single cloud snooze is defined in the settings. It can be either a full day increase or a fraction of the interval. The fraction of the interval can then either by rounded up, or its precise hour can be saved and acculumated until the next watering for that plant.
For example, if the fraction is set as 1/7 then a [2] Button press would add 2 days if the plant's watering interval is set to 7 days. You can see more examples in the Settings.
Known bugs:
Locating a plant twice in a row has unexpected results.
Unable to delete a care task date.
