ᐧHello! My name is Kaycee Lane, and I’m the proud founder of The Pawnee Way.
Born and raised in the heart of Oklahoma, I come from a long line of strong Native women and artists who taught me the sacred value of our culture, traditions, and community. The Pawnee Way was created out of a deep love for preserving and sharing our stories through art, beadwork, and traditional regalia.
Every piece I create — from custom ribbon skirts to intricate beadwork — carries the spirit of our ancestors and the strength of our people. My goal is to honor Native identity, create space for cultural expression, and offer something beautiful and meaningful for those who wish to represent their heritage with pride.
Whether you're Native and want to wear something sacred, or you're an ally who respects and honors our traditions, The Pawnee Way is here for you. This is more than a small business — it’s a movement of love, pride, and cultural strength.
While serving as Miss Native American P-T I found out, it wasn’t just about wearing a crown — it was about carrying our stories, our strength, and our sacred ways into every community I visited. I spoke to youth, elders, and non-Native allies, always with the message that our culture is alive, powerful, and worthy of celebration. That experience deepened my calling to uplift Native voices through art, education, and visibility.
