House Conditions
DO NOT ASK IF [insert pin here] IS AVAILABLE. The only pins being auctioned in here will be the ones specifically posted. The dates and times of each active auction of each pin will be announced five (5) days ahead. Proof of the real pin will be provided by the host.
A SNIPE GUARD OF TEN (10) MINUTES WILL BE IN PLACE. To discourage bid sniping, ten minutes will be tacked on to the last bid. A last bid will be validated if no other bidder posts an increase within ten minutes. Any bid placed after that ten minutes will be ignored.
BID INCREASES MUST BE FIVE DOLLARS (5$) OR MORE and in WHOLE DOLLAR AMOUNTS to be a valid bid. Please be simple math friendly.
NO TRADES OF ANY KIND. NO REQUESTING OR DEMANDING PINS. Any of these kinds of questions and comments will be ignored.
MINORS MAY NOT BID OR HOST. Only 18+ auctioneers with valid Paypal accounts will be considered for hosting and bidding. If a minor bids and wins an active auction, that win will be rendered void and is given to the next highest valid bidder.
CHARITY AUCTIONS will be transparent. Charity receipts will be provided publicly in this chat within 24 hours of payment. Tracking numbers will be provided to the winner within this same timeframe.
ALL are A Grade unless otherwise noted.
Buyer Conditions
ACCEPTING PAYPAL or SQUARE ONLY - All invoices will be sent via Paypal (or Square) and all invoices must be paid within two weeks on receipt. Failure to pay an invoice during this timeframe will render the win void and be offered to the next highest bidder.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL - auctions are meant to be an instant sale, and no refunds should be expected. This auction is meant for serious bidders only. Bidders need to be aware they are taking up responsibility for the final bid they committed to and are expected to pay their invoices.
- Buyer cancellation or non-payment of an auction sale will result in a chat mute for one week (and auction weekend) and barring from live auctions for one month (four auction weekends). Repeat offenders will be banned from the auction house altogether.
- Emergency caveat: In the event of an emergency on the buyers side, we encourage the buyer to contact the seller to work out options for the sale (example: longer term invoice, partial payments, etc). If the emergency results in a cancellation, the buyer will get a warning and be barred from participating the following weekend auction (one weekend). Repeat emergencies from the same buyer will result in strikes (mutes from the chat) and eventually a ban from the auction house altogether.
SHIPPING will be free for all pins 50$ and over (see international caveat below). Tracking WILL be provided and shipping completed within 72 hours after invoice is successfully paid.
- Insurance is suggested for pins over 200$.
- In the event that a package is lost or late, please contact the host to resolve the issue. Once a package is marked as delivered, the transaction is complete in full.
US SHIPPING ONLY! International buyers will need to have a trusted US mail hub, otherwise paying full shipping regardless of final pin price will be at the host's discretion. International auction hosts are not required to have a hub (but it is recommended), but must be aware of the Free Shipping conditions above.
Host Conditions
Hosts are responsible for the resulting auction you have volunteered to host on your own behalf, to include advertising and being present for your auction.
Hosts will respect and abide by all rules and conditions set by the Auction House admin and mods.
Hosts may only have one auction per weekend. Please be mindful when choosing your auction dates.
Hosts MUST be 18 years or older. Any attempts of a minor hosting auctions will immediately be kicked from the Auction House.
Hosts are solely responsible for proper invoicing and shipping after bidding has ended.
Tracking will be issued and shipping completed within 72 hours after invoice is successfully paid. Failing to provide tracking and mailing out the pin in a timely manner will result in a one month restriction from applying for more auctions, and a warning (or strike) will be issued. Repeat violations will result in a total ban from the Auction house.
Hosts cannot cancel on a buyer once bidding has ended. Doing so will result in a one month restriction from applying for more auctions and a warning (or strike) will be issued. Repeat violations will result in a total ban form the Auction House.
Auction cancellations MUST be requested at least two days prior to your auction date. This allows the House to backfill that slot if needed.
Hosts must be present for their auctions. PLEASE RESPOND TO MODS WHEN YOU ARE CALLED.
An absent host will result in the auction being cancelled. Should this occur, a host will need to reschedule their auction and a warning (or strike) will be issued. Repeat no-shows will result an a ban against hosting any more auctions.
- Caveat: In the event where you end up being busy or are pulled away during your auction, please let the mods know and do your best to check in.
Hosts MUST present their proofs on the Friday before their auctions when called. Failure to post your proof within that Friday before auctions start will result in a cancellation of your auction and you will be given a strike as a host no-show.
- If you have an emergency or know you will be away on proof day, please communicate with the House mods. Hosts may take their proof pictures a day or two beforehand to push on Friday.
Additional conditions may be placed by the individual auction host, but ALL base conditions MUST be met.
Hosts are allowed to manage their live auction (call times, high bids, etc) and add incentives.
NOTICE
The admin and mod team ARE NOT liable for post-auction transactions and shipping. We are here to manage a clean safe space for auctioneers and bidders of Fursona Pins merchandise. If there are any questions or concerns, we will be on standby to answer if able.
Any violation of the rules, conditions, and responsibilities of an auction host or bidder will result in strikes and eventually ban from hosting and participating in future live auctions.
Violations will be actioned on as follows:
Warning - no action
Strike 1 - Mute for one week
Strike 2 - Mute for three weeks
Strike 3 - Ban from chat
Any auction that is being hosted by a participant during their probation time will automatically be cancelled.
