Welcome to the Park Group!

Welcome to the Park Group at Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH)!

Our group explores the fascinating connections between energy, materials, and biology to address challenges in sustainable energy and human health. Our research focuses on understanding how materials interact with light, electricity, and biological systems, and how these interactions can be used to develop new technologies. We are particularly interested in artificial and natural photosynthesis, next-generation energy storage materials, and functional nanomaterials for biomedical applications.

We combine materials synthesis, advanced characterization, and fundamental studies to better understand the processes behind energy conversion, energy storage, and biological interactions. Beyond scientific discoveries, we aim to translate our findings into practical technologies that contribute to a more sustainable and healthier future. We also value curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and the opportunity to learn and grow together as a research team.
