We are a church that operates out of homes, primarily. We have a heart for families, discipleship and equipping. Click to join.
We represent Christ, enforcing the reign of God on earth through our individual lifestyles, our non-traditional events and our community and family building strategies. You can say we are the culmination of it all: we play a unique role in unifying the body of Christ.
Founded by the Holy Spirit (because it is his vision), the church is headed by the Council. The Council consists pastors, prophets, evangelists, teachers, apostles, leaders and diverse groups who see to the spiritual nourishment of the church body, in and out of Theos Basileia. This Leadership is committed to the total development of the individual: spiritually, physically and emotionally.
We are an inter-cultural, multi-racial and diverse church headquartered in Accra, Ghana.
This is an explanation of how that works
We have Campus Church Networks too. Click here to find out more.
All pastoral leaders are called Pastors or Shepherds. Other non-pastoral leaders exist.
The most basic church group is the Family Church.
In Theos Basileia, you may be a non-member and still lead a church. Such a shepherd - outside of Theos Basileia - is known as a "Teaching Priest". So join us today, take the word of God to your world by teaching and living it at your workplace, home or area etc.

As the family of God, we realize that each member is equally as important as each leader. Therefore, discipleship happens in small groups and one-on-one where feasible. Everyone gets the chance to be catered to spirit, soul and body. More so, to be taught on how to live the victorious life in Christ. Every person is unique and we incorporate this awareness in nurturing the people God sends to us. We ensure that as much as possible, our meetings are localized.
THEOS is not run on a mega-church structure. Instead, we run our services in small groups, usually, out of houses. We believe in nurturing our Christian life within the family system as originally intended by God.
In this wise, heads of families become the shepherds of their house churches. They are proactive in nurturing their own families in the ways of God, and reaching out to other families in their sphere of influence as we spread the fragrance of Christ everywhere. Doing this ensures that no-one is left out of the personal touch of a shepherd. In a wholistic way, home churches become the focal point by which members receive specialized care spiritually, financially, emotionally and socially.
As much as possible, discipleship occurs in small groups and out of traditional church buildings or chapels. Our large services are often for trainings, worship and special events.
Worship services is once a month: to worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and to testify of his goodness. This is usually a once-a-month Sunday, Saturday or Friday day/night service at the area, regional or national level.
This is often laced with testimonies, communion and a love feast.
Ideally, none of our discipleship, teaching or church services hold on weekends. Weekends are reserved for family rest, recuperation and reconnection whilst services occur during the week in one of the many scheduled dawn and evening shifts in small groups. Members chose one and stick with one shift.
Discipleship occurs at family and group levels as Daybreak. Sundown and Teaching Services, weekly throughout each month.
Our service centers are designed to be places for community engagement. Multipurpose, green buildings that serves the church as well as the community.
Our mode of operation is to effect positive changes in every place we find ourselves, be it in residences, workplaces or neighborhoods. We partner various organizations and individuals as the Lord directs.
