Student Award
The "Theory and Foundations of Statistics in the Era of Big Data" conference will provide four awards to the top student posters that are submitted and presented in the poster session. Each of the winners will receive an award certificate and a $500 prize.
For a submission to qualify for a Best Student Poster Award, a student must
be the primary contributor to the paper;
be enrolled in an MS/PhD (or equivalent) program in Statistics, Data Sciences, or related fields;
will not have graduated before March 31, 2024;
finish the submission through the link below on or before March 29, 2024.
Women and underrepresented minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Guidelines for Poster:
The whiteboard for posters is 36 inches by 48 inches. Please ensure your poster size fits within these dimensions.
Please submit a PDF version of your poster through the link provided above as soon as possible, especially for students who are eligible for the presentation award.
For long-distance travelers, you can print your posters via FedEx/UPS/CVS online services and pick them up locally around FSU.
