About Us

Kaedin Gillie is the lead vocalist of the band with a unique voice, as well as rhythm guitarist and occasional pianist. He is a musical and linguistic leader, writing much of the original music and lyrics for The Orchids.

Matthew Ramirez is the lead guitarist of the band. His natural talent elevates the band's collective sound. Matthew also provides background vocals. He writes original music and lyrics for The Orchids. He is continuing his passion for the music business at the prestigious Belmont University's school of music. 

Connor Shea is the bassist of The Orchids. His ever-growing knowledge of music theory and guitar lays down a firm groove for the band. He also helps with the sound and technology for live performances and recordings, and will be continuing his bright future in music at Belmont University. 

Kate Krupa is the drummer of the band. Her long term study of drum set percussion allows for a creative interpretation of the rhythm for The Orchids' original music. She is studying English Pre-Law at the University of Illinois.
