My topics of research deal with kinetic equations.
In particular, I study the rigorous derivation of the Boltzmann equation, and of similar models (such as the inelastic Boltzmann equation).
More specifically, I worked on the following questions:
rigorous derivation in a domain with boundary,
study of the well-posedness of the dynamics of hard sphere systems, in particular involving inelastic collisions.
These questions led me to work with tools of analysis of PDEs, geometry and dynamical systems.
