Hi I'm Emma, AKA The Office Lady!

I began my career in 2012 as Junior Accountant in a Chartered Accounting firm. After 6 years, I decided to step into the world of small business, looking for more opportunities to learn and grow.

Over the years, I've gained experience in finance and office management across a range of industries, including asbestos analysis and surveying, recruitment, construction, and trades. I love understanding how businesses operate from the ground up, and I've developed a particular passion for supporting those in the building and trades industry. 

In my roles over the years I've always been referred to as "The Office Lady" or "The Money Lady" and the name has stuck!

In 2022, after seeing a significant gap in affordable, ongoing business support for small businesses, I took the leap and launched The Office Lady. My goal was to provide the day-to-day financial and administrative support that so many business owners need throughout the year, not just at tax time.

I'm passionate about helping business owners feel confident in their numbers and supported every step of the way. I want your experience with your accounts to be a positive one - where you feel understood, informed, and empowered to make decisions for your business. 

And of course, I believe a few laughs along the way are just as important as balancing the books!
