I am an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Department of Economics and Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. I received my PhD from the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School in 2019. I have spent the 2017-18 academic year as a Fox International Fellow at Yale University and I am also affiliated with the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI), Stockholm University. I study the individual and contextual drivers of entrepreneurship, distinguishing growth oriented entrepreneurship from self-employment, as well as the strategic human capital entrepreneurs must acquire for their (social) ventures to be successful, and maintain a broad interest in the relationship between individuals and organizations. My research uses insights from labor economics and applies experimental and econometric methods to questions of strategic and policy importance.
