Theodor Vladasel
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). I received my PhD from the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School in 2019. I was a Juan de la Cierva fellow in 2022 and 2023. I spent the 2017-18 academic year as a Fox International Fellow at Yale University and I am also affiliated with the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE), UPF Barcelona School of Management (BSM), and Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI), Stockholm University. I am interested in the individual and contextual drivers and consequences of (growth oriented) entrepreneurship and in the implications of strategic human capital for new and established (social) ventures, focusing on individual and organizational heterogeneity.
The BSE Summer Forum Entrepreneurship Workshop, organized together with Mircea Epure and Mirjam van Praag, will take place in Barcelona on June 19-20, 2024 and feature a keynote address by Sharon Belenzon (Duke Fuqua & NBER; associate editor, Journal of Economics & Management Strategy, Management Science, and Strategic Management Journal). The program will be available shortly.
