Dr. Tapta Kanchan Roy

My major area of interest is physical chemistry. I am trained in quantum-statistical mechanics and vibrational structure theory. I love programming and develop computational chemistry software to compute anharmonic molecular vibrational spectra of large molecular systems, and thermal properties using density matrix. The structure-functionality relationship of bio-molecules and clusters always fascinated me and I look for viable quantum mechanical approaches to understand those phenomenon.
