The 1st Maine Cavalry — colloquially known as the 1st Cav — is one of the most unique regiments in the War of Rights community. Most companies fixate upon tight formations and line battles. In contrast, we function as a dismounted skirmisher unit and operate in tandem with Union infantrymen serving as their pickets. We also specialize in hit-and-run tactics with the express intention of delaying and confusing the enemy.

The members of the 1st Minnesota Volunteers have been playing War of Rights for several years together and are known for their coolness under fire as well as their marksmanship and devastating rifle fire that decimates enemy lines.

The 1st MN promotes a mostly laid back atmosphere but plays hard to win the day, we strive to give you the best American Civil War gaming experience possible.

The leadership of the 65th/66th Illinois and Battery M, from highest rank to NCO, are dedicated to the service of the group. We desire to provide an enjoyable environment and experience for gamers in the War of Rights community. We willingly dedicate our time, effort and creativity to the betterment of the regiment and the group. We endeavor to reward dedication and service with good times, training, and organization to deliver excellent performance on the field of battle. The bulk of our command staff has been fighting together for many years and has built a foundation on camaraderie and hard fighting.

The New York brigade is a fictional brigade in the American civil war. Started and operated by Deckhart since October of 2019, as the 23rd New York Volunteers. In July of 2020 it was expanded into 5 regiments: The 23rd New York Volunteers, 126th New York Volunteers, 14th Brooklyn, 12th New York Militia, and the 1st New York Light Artillery Battery L. Since then we have consolidated to the 23rd, 126th, and 1st. The regiments in the brigade are real, see history in our discord.

Attendance requirements are once every two weeks. Requirements to go from Recruit to Private is attending one drill and one event. With full enlistment, you will rise through the ranks, but must obey the minimum attendance. As a volunteer you may play when you please.
