In 2023, The Norberts Foundations began as an idea shared on a Facebook page—a dream to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children. At first, the goal was just a vision, a hope for what could be. But as time went on, by last year 2024, that dream became a determination to act.
Thus, it took its first steps, focusing on helping 3-5 refugee orphans meet their basic needs, including food, clothing, and access to education. Though still in its less, the initiative is driven by a desire to bring hope and stability to man, women and children who need it most. This is just the beginning of a journey to change lives, one child at a time but hope for many.
-Small act, big impacts-
With hearts of compassion, With hearts of compassion, we are here to help those with urgent needs, orphans, refugees, and those in conflicts zone like in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ukraine and Russia without any personal interest but sympathy.
Right now, as a student, I help with least means I find, providing food, clothing, or other basics needs to these needful people.
My vision is that, in the years to come, God might allow us to establish a center of orphanage, an online support or a help center...
Meet those who need the least of you
I am Viliame Kosa Rabuka (Bill), a Master's student in Public Health at AlIAS. I am writing to you with a humble and urgent appeal regarding a critical health matter I am currently facing. Recently, I was diagnosed with a pre-cancerous condition involving a growing lump (polyp) in my colon.According to medical experts, the only safe solution is to remove the polyp from my body before it progresses further.
The diagnosis came after enduring weeks of excruciating pain that caused sleepless nights and greatly affected my overall well-being. This condition has also led to life-threatening complications, including frequent blood discharge, rapid and unexpected weight loss, and further deterioration of my health.
These challenges led to an emergency trip to Penang Hospital in Malaysia for diagnosis. There, a colonoscopy, CT scan, and x-ray were successfully performed as the first phase of diagnosis. The results revealed the underlying issues causing the pain. The next and most critical step in my treatment is surgery.
Only 5 years old, Jemimah lives already in the harsh realities of the Bulengo/Goma Refugee Camp. Two years ago, she was left alone when her mother was taken from her by the brutality of war in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Jemimah is unschooled and spends her days in a place where hunger, cold nights, and uncertainty. With your help, Jemimah can find nourishment, and the chance to access basic education. Together, we can restore the spark of childhood she so desperately deserves.
My name is Melissa, and I am 13 yo and live in North-Kivu/Congo. Four years ago, my father passed away due to illness, we didn’t have any place to live with Mom, thus we ended up in the Refugee Camp. I’m in 3rd grade, but I am not able to finish because we often even lack food. I dream of continuing my education and helping others someday.

Vision
My vision is that, in the years to come, God might allow us to establish a center of orphanage, an online support or a help center. It might include small or medium businesses at a local level to make this project self-sustaining while helping orphans to learn skills to survive and thrive in their communities.
And make connections with people of good hearts who will subscribe as one time or permanent donors to help these people living in chaotic territories.
