Newton North High School has partnered with Legacy Studios to offer in-school Senior Portrait sessions, they will bring their complete portrait studio to our campus. We encourage all Newton North Seniors to use Legacy Studios.
Senior portrait sessions can be scheduled online at https://seniors.legacystudios.com/newton-north-hs-ma/. There will be multiple portrait sessions throughout the Summer & Fall. The scheduling site will open 14 days prior to each session, it is currently open for June 26th and 27th. Scheduling appointments is first come, first serve.

Indoor = Photos taken in front of a backdrop
Outdoor = Environmental photos taken outside
On the scheduling site, scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will first select the portrait session (there are 5 to choose from) that best meets your needs, then select the date.
There is a $25 REFUNDABLE portrait session option. This option allows you 8 poses to choose from. The $25 is returned to you after you’ve selected your portrait and returned your proofs.
Pay your session fee online.
Session fee does not include printed copies of your portrait, prints are a separate fee.
You will receive a reminder email regarding your portrait session a few days prior to your appointment.
STUDENTS - DO NOT USE YOUR NPS EMAIL ADDRESS, you will not receive the emails.
Parents - Make sure you make the appointment with your student’s name.
You may wear whatever you want for your portrait session and select whichever pose you’d prefer to have printed in the yearbook. You are welcome to bring some special clothing items to your portrait session that reflect who you are and what your interests are. There is more information regarding apparel when you schedule your appointment so please review the information carefully. You are not required to choose a portrait wearing a cap and gown or tuxedo/drape top.
After pictures are captured - you will review the images taken. Please make sure you see some you love AND if not, please inform your photographer and they will be happy to take additional images. You will be emailed a link with your image gallery within 8-10 business days from no-reply@imagequix.com.
You will be able to change/select your yearbook pose up until the yearbook pose deadline. Viewing your senior gallery online is simple, no codes to remember. It is so much fun to work with all of the green screen replacement background options.

If you choose not to use Legacy Studios you can submit any portrait/photo you would like.
Please email your digital portrait/photo to Newtonian.Yearbook@gmail.com by January 18, 2026 (this is an extension from the December 20, 2025 deadline). (Students should not use their NPS email address to send the portrait in, the email will not be delivered to the yearbook gmail account.)
The subject of the email should state your name as you'd like it to appear in the yearbook, nothing else needs to be included. Examples of how a name could appear - Joe Smith or Joseph Smith or Joseph A Smith or Joe Smith Jr. If you have multiple middle names and last names, we will try our best to include everything, but sometimes not everything fits in the space provided.
If you use a photography company you can give them this requirement information - 3" Tall x 2" Wide with a print resolution of 300. If you are submitting a photo taken with a phone or a digital camera (not by a professional) just email the photo in its original form, we will take care of editing it. We will send out portrait received confirmation emails starting in mid-January 2026.
