I’m originally from Macon, GA and currently live in the Charlotte, NC area. I married the love of my life, Leslie Smith in 2015. We have two wonderful kids, our daughter, Sienna Smith, and son, Elisha Smith. Next to God, they are my biggest inspirations for living life with purpose! A few hobbies of mine are cooking/grilling, listening to music, watching podcasts about important subjects to me, and spending quality time with my family. I graduated from Wingate University with a bachelors degree in Organizational Communication and Management. Post college, I got into insurance sales and worked my way up to Senior Leadership within 5 years at the number one leading Medicare sales call center brand in the US. For the past decade, I’ve worked in insurance while leading teams from 10-75 employees. In my personal life, I have managed to persevere through challenging times like being homeless and going to school at the same time. Yet, by the grace of God, I remained steadfast in my pursuit to find purpose. Eventually, I found my path through leadership. I chose to be a leader in the workforce, in my home, and now through life coaching and consulting!
I completed my Certified Life Coach (CLC) certification to become a life coach at Life Purpose Institute. I am a professional life coach with a focus in work-life balance for lifestyle coaching. Also I am in pursuit of earning my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). ICF credentials will elevate my expertise in the field as well as open more doors for the Narrow Gate, LLC to grow!
July 12th, 2022 The Narrow Gate, LLC was established. My practice is based out of the Charlotte, NC area. Since day one, I have slowly but surely revved up my practice in a way that I can be proud of. This opportunity I've created for myself gives me the pleasure of seeing others grow and watching their journeys develop.
Leading and coaching others throughout life is just what I'm called to do!
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." - Matthew 7:13-14 (NIV)
