A concept map is a great assessment tool for linking knowledge within a particular subject matter such as electronic music. It can be also be a tool for teachers to understand at what level a student is grasping that particular subject matter. A concept map consists of labels of concepts or ideas within shapes and a series of lines connecting these shapes to indicate relationships between concepts in a subject matter.
