Introduction

Welcome to WidgetTap ("the App", "we", "us", or "our").

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before downloading, installing, or using the App.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

About WidgetTap

WidgetTap is a home screen customization application designed to help users personalize their iPhone with aesthetic widgets, wallpapers, and Dynamic Island effects.

Features include:

• Clock, weather, calendar, step counter, and countdown widgets

• Wallpaper collections

• Dynamic Island effects

• Widget presets and combinations

WidgetTap does not collect, store, or share your personal location, contacts, or private data. All customization is performed locally on your device.

1. Eligibility

By using the App, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction

• If you are under the age of majority, your parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms on your behalf

• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. No Account Required

WidgetTap does not require account registration.

You are not required to provide:

• Name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Password

Because no account exists:

• We cannot recover your data if the App is deleted

• We cannot restore data if your device is lost or reset

• You are responsible for protecting your device and maintaining your own backups

3. Permissions

WidgetTap may request access to:

• Photo Library — to save wallpapers and widget images to your device

• HealthKit (optional) — to display step count data in widgets

• Notifications (optional) — to send widget reminders or countdown alerts

• All permissions are optional and can be revoked at any time through device settings. Disabling permissions may limit certain features but does not prevent core customization functionality.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate applicable laws

• Interfere with App operation

• Reverse engineer the App

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

WidgetTap is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its designs, widgets, wallpapers, and content, remain the property of WidgetTap and its licensors.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal purposes.

You may not redistribute, resell, or reproduce any content from the App without explicit permission.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using the App, including custom widget arrangements and home screen layouts.

You grant WidgetTap a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process and transmit such content solely to provide App functionality.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services including:

• Apple WidgetKit and SwiftUI frameworks

• Apple WeatherKit — for weather data display

• Cloud infrastructure providers (if applicable)

We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information.

By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

WidgetTap does not sell any user data to third parties.

9. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Parents who believe information has been collected improperly may contact us for review and deletion.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WIDGETTAP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

• MERCHANTABILITY

• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE

• NON-INFRINGEMENT

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• THE APP WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION

• ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED

• THE APP WILL BE FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS

YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WIDGETTAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• INDIRECT DAMAGES

• INCIDENTAL DAMAGES

• CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES

• LOSS OF DATA

• LOSS OF PROFITS

INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

• APP UNAVAILABILITY

• DATA LOSS

• DEVICE COMPATIBILITY ISSUES

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms.

Certain provisions shall survive termination, including disclaimers and limitations of liability.

13. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify the App, its features, or these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
