As the weather gets warmer, and the days grow longer, it can mean only one thing. Mia Day is getting near! This year's celebration will take place on Saturday, August 17th at the Rochester Police Locust Club in Rochester, NY. If you've never attended our annual event, you really don't know what you're missing! Once a year, Mia Foundation members, volunteers, and adopters all gather for our biggest fundraising event of the year. We reunite, reminisce, and reconnect. We greet newcomers who share our vision. We love meeting our supporters in person. We personally invite each & every one of you to come out & celebrate with us. MacKenzie, McFly, Nona, Mindy, Kisses, Rosie Lynn, along with all of the Mia babies are waiting to meet you! There are still plenty of nearby accommodations available, so what are you waiting for? Will we see YOU on August 17th?

Time: 12pm-4pm
Admission: $5.00 (benefits the Mia Foundation)
What: Basket raffle, Chinese Auction, Mia Food stand, Lemonade stand, Adopt a stuffed Mia baby, Carnival games, Mia merchandise. Fun for all ages (furkids, too!)

Tukie -- Rochester, NY
Tukie is a playful 9 month old, 5-lb. miniature pinscher mix pup with special needs. Tukie was born on 8/31/2018 with a congenital spinal deformity. He can't flex his hind legs, instead he hops or swings his back legs. He is mobile. He's also incontinent and wears a belly band or diaper. Like most puppies Tukie is a very active boy. He likes to run, play, and chase balls. He is not in any pain and does not know he is disabled. Tukie's sweet, smart and friendly. He gives the best kisses and loves to be held & cuddled.
Our little guy gets along great with all dogs he's met, but he may be too energetic for some cats. Because of his small size, he would do best in a home with older respectful children who won't trip over him. He's up to date on all age appropriate shots and is not yet neutered.
Tukie is a very special little pup that needs a little extra care but Tukie is so worth it!!
