The Famous Car Crash!
AT 3.00 one Monday morning in September 2016 I was rudely awakened by one of my locals, to tell me that a car had crashed into "his" pub. Needless to say, I did not believe him until he sent me a picture on my phone. I was extremely upset, as you can imagine, as this person did not book or even make a telephone reservation, just drove straight in.! Seriously, no one was hurt and we managed to get the pub open, on time, that night, thanks to help from our loyal locals and their shovels.
