So this morning on my way to work, I decided to completely redo my N3DSXL's home screen so it will not be so cluttered and that I can actually look at the awesome backgrounds. I then got to wondering what other owners have done.

yesterday there was an update to the device. since the update my theme is "gone" the background is black but the sounds made are the same. there is a problem scrolling around where it's not highlighting my position anywhere making it difficult to navigate. I have tried reverting my theme to no success. I have also restarted to no success. when I use apps for streaming navigation is fine, it just seems to be the homepage where I cannot tell where I am. apparently there is no direct support for my device but this is Really confusing for my sensory needs. please help. thank you.

The first item can be done with a work-around by using the standard add-to-homescreen feature in Safari on iOS devices. However, it results in a generic button. It is better user experience to deliver a custom button that reflects the proper branding.

So the question is: Is it possible to change the color/theme of the splash screen while running a flutter application, so that on the next start of the app the native android splash screen loads in the same theme as the Flutter app?

In your project folder's android/app/src/main/res there should be a drawable folder, which contains the launch_background.xml for light theme. Duplicate this folder and call the second one drawable-night and configure the dark theme style. It will automatically change based on Android's system theme.

If you set the splash screen from the Android folder xml files, then i guess you can't escape writing some Native code and placing some of your theming logic in the Android subfolder. On the other hand, if the theming logic and splashscreen is both in the main.dart file. Then you can just store the two different splashscreens you want to use and add some if-else statement to display the splash screen and also save user theme preference. If you don't know how to do this, you can follow this thread: How to load theme at beginning in fluttter

You can use some sort of SharedPreferences to hold the current state of the Theme. Then return the desired theme to the MaterialApp based on the value saved in your Shared Preferences. I personally use HydratedBloc package to save the current states of my app, including Theme.

I imagine users thinking themes store was discontinued. They associate the presence of something thru the visual help of an icon, an icon for the Themes app, which we carefully design as a paint brush, hoping they continue to tap on it and letting us to continue our life cycle as sellers.

I understand your explanation, thanks. But why in the whole Galaxy ecosystem off apps *-or bloatware-* is Themes App the **only one** with that "privacy" feature that allows you to deactivate it, removing it from your home screen **AND** from your list of apps?

It did remove it from my home screen but did not remove it from my app list. I do not know of any Android apps that now directly install to a home screen except the ones that are added by default by Android or a service provider.

Thanks everyone that has responded in this thread. Because of your attention a patch will be released next week. I know it will put the app icon back in the icon tray we do not know if it will have an option to add to home screen or not.

The Galaxy Store Theme team did not consider the fix sufficient either. You will need to:

Go to you mobile settings. Scroll down just a bit to Themes Settings. Enable App Icon. It will enable the App Icon in the app tray and add an icon to the home screen (probably last screen).

I have done a couple of grid home screens if anyone would like to try them out, all three use vertical text labels and use linksheets. I have tried to do the XBMC home screens of Refocus, Breeze and Confluence.

I have also changed the dashboard_list.xml and dashboard_grid.xml (blue button) to look like the grid home screen that I have done and the other as close I can get to the new WD grid home screen. The dashboard with the linksheets are slower than the grid home screen, I had to use @@dashboard_title1_# instead of @@app_subtitle to get them to work. I cannot find the thumbnail images for videos, music and photos on the new WDTV so the grid dashboard looks alot better on the WDTV Hub.

With the ability to customize their home screen to reflect their unique style, iPhone users enjoy phones more personal than ever (outer space theme, anyone?). To design your own aesthetic home screen you can rearrange apps, design new pages (like a page that groups all your social media apps together for easy scrolling), and even change the size and color of your app icons. All of this began with Apple's iOS 14 update (though it's still available with the most recent software upgrades) and while it might sound like a lot of effort, there are apps that do a lot of the work for you.

Several apps are available to help you create a home screen that's aesthetically pleasing with your desired functionality. From Widgetsmith to Aesthetic Kit, these apps will help you get the most from your phone by seriously tailoring it to meet your needs. Keep reading to learn more about the apps that can help you design the home screen you've always wanted!

If you love to change your phone's aesthetic on a weekly, monthly, or even seasonal basis, ScreenKit is for you. The app has a theme, a widget, or an icon for all your iPhone home screen ideas. You can download this app with limited options for free, or upgrade to the pro version for $8 a month or $40 yearly.

Colorful Themes has so many cool icons for social apps, entertainment apps, and more. Plus you can customize the home screen with its library of hundreds of themes. The free version of the app is limited, and if you pay to unlock more, it's $5 a month or $20 yearly.

Icon Themer has a diverse library of icons, themes, and widgets that are all customizable with different colors and backgrounds so you can watch your iPhone home screen ideas come to life. The app costs $3 weekly, $10 a month, or $25 for the year.

Make your aesthetic home screen a beauty with Color Widgets, which allows you to choose from hundreds of premade widgets or create your own. Edit the font, the theme color, and even the background color to design a home screen that's uniquely yours.

Make the most of every slot on your aesthetic home screen by using Widgetsmith's highly customizable widgets to meet your needs throughout the day. For example, a widget could show you the weather when you're getting dressed for work and your calendar at the end of the day so you know what's going on tomorrow.

As the name suggests, the Shortcuts app allows you to create custom shortcuts to your most-used apps with just a tap or by asking Siri. The app features more than 300 built-in actions and works with many popular apps, including Contacts, Calendar, Photos, Music, and Reminders. Save time with innovative features like adding a aesthetic home screen icon that calls your BFF.

Get organized with the Timepage by Moleskine Studio calendar app, which allows you to view your schedule, activities, and weather from your aesthetic home screen. You can even customize widgets to match your preferred color palette.

The weather outside hugely impacts our lives, so allow it to take control of your home screen with CARROT Weather. This weather app offers quick and easy access to current, hourly, and daily forecasts, but it also changes your background based on the weather outside.

Whenever i apply a community made theme, i expect Obsidian to apply theme colors full-screen, also including the topmost and preferably the bottom most bar (the bottom bar shows up if you deactivated home, back and overview button and switched to assistive services - gesture controls) between relaunches.

Currently the top menu bar does not remember theme changes between relaunches, the bottom bar just displays the monochrome tone of light mode (white) or dark mode (black) set for the phone UI. I know that Android apps are able to modify both bars.

I still get this white or black top bars (please see my first post), maybe sb knows a solution, unfortunately i myself have no clue how i should remove these bands. Obsidian starts up every time missing to tint the top bar and the only workaround i know is to re-apply use light theme/ use dark theme from the bottom-right menu in the main screen of a note

1. Download the Widgetsmith app on your iPhone.

2. In the app, select the size of the widget you'd like to customize -- your options are small, medium and large.

3. Tap the widget to customize it. You can change the font and colors. Go back once you're done and tap Save.

4. Go to your home screen and hold and press down anywhere on the screen.

5. Once you're in edit mode, tap the plus icon in the top left corner and search for Widgetsmith. Tap the icon.

6. Select the widget size you'd like to add to your home screen and tap Add Widget.

7. You can change the widget by pressing down on the app and selecting Edit Widget. That's all! Now your home screen has different-size icons for a customized look.

Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows version 4.17 and later includes a refreshed home screen design that adds a calendar to front-of-room displays, quick access to more commonly used actions on consoles, additional built-in background options, and better consistency with other Teams devices. ff782bc1db
