Stretching for Sports
Stretching protocols are often included in an athlete’s training regimen to improve flexibility and aid recovery. For this reason, the sports massage therapist must possess skills to perform stretches safely and effectively.
Massage therapists will learn various lengthening methods including:
proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation
active release
pin and stretch
direct tissue stretching
Theory notes will be delivered in print and online. 5 CEUs
Only 2 - 4 students allowed per class for superior private instruction.
