cool, baby cool

In a land far far away
in the “great” state of alabama
a cool ass baby was born
and they came out singing
And sing they did
in the choir that they hated
in the shower that’s too small
in their brother’s face (and he fucking deserved it)
the melody of that cool ass baby
carried them onwards and upwards
to the just okay state
of pennsylvania
and sing they do
in the car that’s falling apart
still in the shower somehow even smaller
in their cool ass kitchen (that they are gonna miss)
humming hymns, some attempt
happy and hearty, somewhat sure
so go on cool ass baby
let the world hear it
