The Legend

Our humble collaborative efforts have taken us through several albums, years of living in separate continents, yet we are linked by the miracle of spirited communication; it's evolved, and so have we (we like to think anyway)!  Almost upon completion of our sixth album, we want our sound to carry on throughout time.  Hopefully, you will enjoy it and come back to visit to hear more!  Please tell anyone that may like us.

The Lyre Effect started in 2007 through a MySpace connection between Essex Musician/ producer Stooish and MInnesota writer/ poet/ artist The Raving Lyre.

Combining influences through spoken word poetry, ambient electrnica, dub, trip hop, EDM, & rock, a distant and experimental journey has been taking place.

Releasing their debut 2007 album 'Wedding Day', followed by 'The Dream' (2009), Paraiso (2017), Wanderlust (2018), & Complicity (2020)

and currently working on new material for 2023.

The band still work via the internet and are split between U.S.A. & the U.K. 

Yet in person.. They still have never met.
