There is no secret, we just cook everything the way we believe it should be!! 

Our aged beef is cooked in the wood-fired oven for that depth in flavour along with our proper Norfolk Beef Gravy. 

I was always fascinated and intrigued as a child at how my Nanny's roasts were always better than my mum's (sorry mum). They both cooked them the same way and served the same meat & veg?!? How could they be so different? 

Again, there was no secret. What I found out was that the devil was in the detail. She would use beef dripping for the roasties, fresh herbs, fresh yorkies & quality salt. She made sure the veg was cooked to perfection too!

This always inspired me to replicate this and I feel I have come close to it. And this is my version of a "Nanny Winnie" Roast. If she was still here, I believe she would approve and we hope you do too!!
