Requirements

Age/Vaccine Requirements

All dogs must be at least 15 weeks old and completed at least 4 puppy vaccines. All dogs (puppies included) must be up to date on the following: DAPP, Rabies, and Bordetella. Bordetella must be given EVERY SIX MONTHS. Vaccines must be administered at least TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO BOARDING. Proof of vaccines is required for your dog to stay at The Lodge.

Flea & Tick Treatment:

In warmer months, we ask that all dogs be treated for fleas/ticks. If a dog is found to have either fleas or ticks, The Lodge will call the owner to discuss a plan of treatment for an additional charge.

Meet Ryan and Kathryn, the heart and soul behind The Lodge at Windy Ridge. In 2023, they turned their passion for dogs into a thriving dog boarding center.

Since 2012, under the banner of Windy Ridge Retrievers, Ryan has professionally trained hundreds of dogs. His expertise and dedication have led him to pass the Master National with multiple dogs.

The Stameys' philosophy is simple: treat every dog as if he/she were their own. They believe in providing a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for all dogs, regardless of breed or size. Their dedication to personalized care and their commitment to creating a home away from home for dogs is what sets The Lodge at Windy Ridge apart. And it’s not just Ryan and Kathryn who embody this philosophy—their daughters are equally involved, often helping to soothe a homesick puppy or teaching an old dog a new trick.
