July 2025: This announcement is a bit overdue. Many of you have already seen him onstage with us over the past year, but it's time to make it official. Please welcome the newest member of The LK Project, percussionist John Bost! John's beats on the cajon have added a new level of energy to our shows. And as the Executive Director of Open Heart Kitchen, he embodies the Project's ongoing commitment to community service. Welcome, John!

January 2025: We've decided to donate our proceeds from our upcoming Livermore Jazz Society House Concert Series show to DirectRelief to benefit those impacted by the fires. The show will be live-streamed if you are not in the area. See our shows page for more information, and please consider making a donation whether you can attend or not.

UPDATE: We were able to raise $700 to support wildfire victims and first responders. Thank you so much to the Livermore Jazz Society, and for the generosity of those of you who made donations to support the show! April 2023: We've been quietly toiling away in the studio on our next set of recordings, with plans to release them hopefully this spring. But now we're transitioning to rehearsing for our upcoming spring and summer shows. Check out our Shows Page to see when and where we're playing near you. We're especially excited for our show on April 13 in the courtyard in front of the Bankhead Theater. As Executive Director of Livermore Performing Arts, Chris held off on booking his own band for the Courtyard Concerts series for three years, but staff and patrons finally pressured him into it. We're excited to play a show of only our own original music. Come out and support us, and get your tickets early!

December 2022: It's been a busy month! The episode of Livermore Live Music Spotlight we recorded last month released today. We played "Pedal Away", "Park Street" and "Edge of the World". Thanks again to Rob Allen and the crew at Advance Creative for the opportunity, and for their tireless work supporting local music.
