Welcome! The Rong Liu Lab investigates how molecular motors function in neurosensory systems and how their dysregulation contributes to disease. Our current projects include three major areas: 1) Usher protein dynamics in auditory function and disease, 2) Kinesin in ciliary trafficking and retinal ciliopathies, 3) Mechanisms of neuronal trafficking and morphogenesis.
