For children it is necessary to take special precautions.
Where possible, parents should not leave their children unattended with strangers.
Nanny Link: If you arrange a lesson where a teacher is unattended with a child, we will use a 'Nanny link': this is an open Zoom meeting. Parents are able to log on remotely at any time during a lesson to check whether their child is safe.
Recording: If you arrange a lesson where a teacher is unattended with a child, we may record either audio or video. We may keep this recording in our database for use with any child protection allegations. The recordings will not be used for any other purpose.
For educational reasons we do not recommend having a parent in the same room as a student. This often causes a student to be embarrassed, self conscious or conflicted.
