Kraken Cocktails first opened its doors on September 20, 2020.
It was known as a popular hangout spot for busy solicitors, keeping close to MRPD awaiting clients contacting them from the cells, or filling out paperwork while enjoying a refreshing beverage.

Fast forward to September 27, 2022, where June took over the wheel, setting a new course for the iconic bar. The new ownership injected a new energy into the venue, setting the stage for the evolution you witness today.

On May 9, 2023, Kraken Cocktails was rebranded to The Kraken to embrace a name that resonates with the spirit of our establishment, embodying the raw power and energy of heavy metal and rock culture.

As part of our commitment to enhancing your experience, we proudly introduced "The Flying Dutchman" on August 10, 2023. This custom drinks truck, named after the legendary ghost ship, has become an integral part of our identity, accompanying us to events and adding an extra dimension to The Kraken experience.

In a symbolic rebirth, The Kraken emerged from the ashes after a significant fire, which prompted a renovation on November 30, 2023, bringing The Kraken to life as it stands today.
