The Kopapa Campaign is intended to unite the people of the Ijivitari Open Electorate, Northern Province, Papua New Guinea (PNG) who share a vision for every citizen to be conscious of his own self-worth and hold a high regard for human dignity emulating self-respect.
We believe in achieving this vision through empowering of individuals to be economically self-sufficient by creating and maintaining an enabling environment with support infrastructure and agencies.
Joseph Kopapa has been invested with the title of Chief under the Papua New Guinea Order of Logohu in recognition for 42 years of contribution to the Public Service and the Church.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Agriculture from the university of Reading, UK. As a career didiman (Agricultural Extension Officer) reached the position of Deputy National Secretary for Department of Agriculture and then resigned and gave his life to service the people through the Anglican Church of PNG as a priest.
