My journey would not be possible without the support and encouragement from my family and friends. I have improved my skills and reached a level of education that is difficult to reach. It's now time to take the next step on my journey by creating a place of my own. This step of faith led to The Knot Bar Studio. My passion comes from my clients. The art of transforming my client's day is more than just the services I can offer. The connection I create with them on a personal level to make their expectations a reality is so rewarding. As they look in the mirror before leaving, their smile says that they love the way they look. This confidence will radiate as they leave my studio, allowing them to walk out into the world different from when they came.

Jacqueline Ownby
I have been in the cosmetology industry for over 25 years. Through the course of my career, I have mastered virtually all of the different aspects of the industry. My skills go farther than just the chair. I have been teaching and mentoring the future of our industry for the last 10 years. This combination of skills and mentoring gives me a drive for excellence that cannot be measured. I am a lifelong learner because there are always new skills to master.
When I'm not assisting clients find their inner confidence, I am at home with my husband of 23 years and my 6 beautiful children. I enjoy going camping or to the beach when I can, but spending time with my family is also a great love of mine.
