Our past is filled with a lot of memories. Some are beautiful to cherish, and some are regretful to forget. We can't go back in time, even if we want, to edit parts of our history that we dislike, but we can do something about it now so that it doesn't have an impact on the present and future. The one thing we all have in common is that we all have a past. If it’s a miserable past, forgetting doesn't always help, but we have to deal with it. If not much, we can at least do something today to decrease its impact. We could have done something if it had only been our past, but what about the past we carry with us? Do you know that we all carry a huge loads of pasts along with our own past?
Whose past is that? Whose history are we carrying? Our identity on this planet is distinct but not entirely unique. Our facial features, behaviour, height, weight, blood group, body language, gestures, personalities and characters are not completely new ones, but copied versions. Whom are they copied from? They are copied from the people who lived before us, who are commonly referred to as our forefathers or parents. We didn't come into this world empty-handed, but with a full package. We inherit both good and bad traits from our previous generations. When a child grows up, everyone wants to teach him or her good habits. Nobody teaches a child how to be angry, jealous of others, selfish, quarrel or fight, steal, lie, etc. Even without coaching, a little child can excel in the above categories. This is because of the traits inherited from the ancestors. All of the work that people do on the earth during their lifetimes is not forgotten but passed down to future generations, just as their wealth and property are. The term ‘Bloodline’ explains that very well. Hereditary diseases are one example of how we carry our ancestors' genes. Blood is the medium through which the qualities of the ancestors are passed down to future generations.
Even if we have never done anything wrong in this world, we are still labelled as ‘sinners’, due to the large number of wrongs or mistakes we already carry with us. We think that only when we have done wrong or made a mistake do we need to correct it, but the moment we are born, we begin as evil people, as we carry a massive record of mistakes passed down to us from previous generations. We've all heard the expression, "Whatever can change, but our generational characters are hard to change." We also pick up many unprofitable qualities from our surroundings as we grow older. The past that we carry and the miserable things that we collect with us during our walk on the earth can have a huge impact on our present and future. The result is that, even with a sound knowledge of good and evil, we are unable to choose the good and end up in trouble in our daily lives, later regretting our actions. If we carry it any longer, we will have to face the harmful effects for all of the previous evil records. Even if we want to live a peaceful and joyful life without any problems, it’s hardly possible. These things stick with us and drag us down at every stage, not letting us prosper. The damages that it may cause are sickness, poverty, pain, addiction, failures, debts, fear, anger, depression, lust, envy, greediness, guilt, and other negative effects.
What can we do with the baggage of the past that we carry? What to do with the past of the ancestors who are not even alive on the planet? How should we deal with it? Is there a way to get rid of all these things we carry with us? To not carry it forward any further, it must be stopped somewhere. To stop the previous evil records and their side effects, they must be deleted. If we do not put a full stop to it, it will continue and be passed down to future generations. This is one of the reasons why the world is becoming more evil, as all the mistakes that people make during their lifetime on Earth are passed down through generations.
Now to delete the past, we have 2 options: face the consequence for our past ourselves or put them on someone else and be free. Someone or another has to face the outcome for the evil done on Earth, and only then will it be erased. Life is already difficult. Bearing the consequence for the past, including the pasts of so many people, would be more difficult for us. The easiest way is to put it on someone else to bear and free ourselves. On whom can we put it? Who will bear it all for us? For this purpose, we require a scapegoat. In ancient times, people used to put all their wrongdoings on an animal, mostly a lamb and free them from its evil effects. It's called 'Bali ka Bakra' in Hindi, to put all our undesirable past on it and free ourselves from its harmful effects. If someone faces the outcome for our evil past, then it will be deleted.
The next step is to find our scapegoat. In this selfish world where everyone seeks their own good, will there be anyone willing to become our scapegoat? No one considers anyone else's benefit more than their own; how can someone become our scapegoat? To do so for us, our scapegoat must first and foremost love us unconditionally. We may have many people in this world who love us. Everyone in this world has a reason to love us, but can anyone love us without expecting anything in return? Can anyone care for or love us despite the fact that they will receive nothing in return? The only one who has everything and does not require anything from humans is the Creator alone, as He is all-powerful and Almighty. The Creator, who created everything, is also the one who created this emotion of love in humans. The love that humans possess today is so limited in comparison to the Creator's love, as He is the one who possesses the fullness of this quality called ‘Love’, which is revealed to us in the form of a proverb: "God is love.". Certainly, He has distributed this quality to humans, but humans do not have the full measure of love that He does. As a result, the Creator Himself thought of becoming the scapegoat in order for people to be free of their undesirable pasts and evil.
So the first requirement for becoming a scapegoat is having unconditional love for humans, which is met. What is the next quality? To be a scapegoat for humans, the scapegoat must be a human and live as one. The human body is made up of flesh and blood. As a result, the scapegoat should have flesh and blood as well. God is Spirit. He has different attributes than humans and lives in a different environment. How can God have flesh and blood? How can God become the scapegoat? The only one solution is to leave the splendour and beauty of heaven and live as an ordinary human on earth. According to this, He chose to be born as a human with flesh and blood. Around 2000 years ago, He took the form of a man and was born in a country called "Israel", in the continent of Asia. He lived on earth, named as "Jesus", for around 33 and ½ years. The only goal for Jesus to be born on earth as a human was to be the one and only scapegoat for humanity.
In order to carry all humanity’s mistakes and evil records, the third quality required for the scapegoat is a life of extreme purity. The scapegoat should not have committed any sin during his life on earth. There could be hardly any human who possess this quality. Jesus lived a life of zero sin or mistake for around 33 and ½ years, qualifying as the perfect scapegoat for humans. He had done no violence, no crime, never told a lie, and no deceit was found in His mouth. He had no ancestors' mistakes in His blood because He was born of a virgin. He lived a perfect life, overcoming all evil temptations.
As Jesus fulfilled all requirements and qualified as the perfect scapegoat, it is now time to discuss the scapegoat's final and most important work. Blood sustains human life. The life of the flesh is in the blood. Blood is also the medium for the transportation of life and qualities in humans. So the final requirement is blood. To pay the price for humanity's mistakes, the qualified scapegoat must shed all of His blood. To fulfil this requirement, after living for 33 and 1/2 years, Jesus allowed Himself to be falsely accused of a crime He had not committed, was arrested, and was put in prison. He was beaten and crucified on the cross. He shed all of His blood and died on the cross to be the perfect scapegoat. He finished his final work on earth by dying in the place of humans in order to set people free from the past, bondage, sin, and selfishness. Because Jesus became the perfect scapegoat and completed His mission on Earth, His pure blood can be used to erase all evil records. We can free ourselves from our past using His blood.
Now, if all of the above is true, why is there still so much evil existing on the planet? Why hasn’t all evil vanished from the earth as a result of the blood sacrifice of Jesus? We have various illnesses in the world today. Lots of medicines have been developed to treat various diseases. Sicknesses will not be cured simply because medicines are discovered. To be healed, the sick person must find the correct medicine for his disease (with the assistance of a physician) and consume the correct medicine. Similarly, in order to obtain relief from evil, we must use the perfect scapegoat's sacrifice.
Now, we have the scapegoat before us. How can we today profit from the qualified scapegoat’s sacrifice on the cross? For this, we must recall all of our wrongdoings and the undesirable qualities of the past that we carry with us and put them all on the scapegoat known as Jesus. We must accept and confess it, and claim that He shed His blood to pay the price of our sins. Then we will be free from the wrongdoing and guilt, and because Jesus has already paid the penalty, all our undesirable past will be deleted, never to be remembered again. We will regain a clear conscience that will be free of all evil records. When our conscience is purified and evil records are deleted, our hearts will overflow with real, tangible joy as a tangible sign of this experience.
This opportunity or experience is available to all who qualify as humans, irrespective of caste, religion, gender, creed, language, or other factors. As we do it, good health, love, joy, peace, happiness, and freedom will flow into our lives, as we have emptied the source of evil that we were carrying. If our past sins are not deleted, we will have to bear the guilt and consequences of all our past, ourselves. Just as we have to face harmful effects on the earth as a result of previous evil acts, we will also have to face significant consequences after our life on Earth. It’s now in our hands, to make use of the scapegoat and put all the undesirable qualities, characters, and evil past upon Him in order to be free and not carry it forward with us, or otherwise we will have to reap the damages of holding on to it, on this earth and after our life on earth.
We can do this work of putting all the undesirable on Jesus until the end of our lives on earth. We can see the benefits it brings in this life itself, as we empty our undesirable past onto the scapegoat. Its benefits will also continue even after our life on earth. As we go through this process during our time on Earth, we will be given a beautiful, eternal, unending life with no sickness, pain, or problems after our life on earth, as all of our evil records are deleted. The errors and evil that we are a part of prevent us from living for eternity. When we cast all our evil on Jesus and free ourselves from all evil, a door will be opened for us to live in heaven after our life on earth, because all the evil that stopped eternity is vanished or deleted by the blood of Jesus Christ. Now it’s in our hands to help ourselves and make the wise decision of emptying all our evil and undesirable past on Jesus, which is completely free of cost.
I hope we will all select this wise option and continue our future lives in absolute freedom, peace, and joy !!!
