1. See yourself in others. Kapwa means "self in the other." We show up with the understanding that your neighbor's struggle, joy, and dignity are connected to your own. Lead with empathy before judgment.
2. Give and receive freely. This community runs on mutual generosity. Offer what you can without expectation and ask for what you need without shame. There is no hierarchy of contributions here — time, knowledge, resources, and presence are all gifts.
3. Hold space for difference. Our village is stronger because of its many members. We do not require sameness to build solidarity. Listen to understand, especially when someone's experience differs from your own.
4. Repair when harm happens. We are human and we will make mistakes. When harm occurs — name it, take accountability, and move toward repair. Conflict handled with care strengthens our collective.
5. Protect the village. What is shared here stays here. Respect the privacy, safety, and trust of your neighbors. If something feels off, bring it to a community admin. You are welcome to invite other trusted neighbors in alignment with our goals, but please do not share the link in public forums.
