Our Story

The Justice Commission was established by a collective of passionate South Africans with legal, civic and lived experience - united by a shared commitment to justice.

Though newly registered, the Commission draws from years of grassroots legal advocacy, community organising and human rights work led by its founding members.

Our work is rooted in Durban but inspired by global principles of equality, inclusion and community-driven reform.
