Story:

As a young child, Dect was taken by the military to be used as a weapon of sorts (he was a child during World War 2) (man, the government sucks)
He had something implanted in his eye so he could see things glow through walls if they were important, this, however, caused him to be completely colorblind.

His Mother was not a fan of Dect's Passion to become an artist after this ordeal, she wanted him to be a detective and his vision would help so much with evidence finding, but Dect didn't wanna become a detective, art was his passion, his mom didn't take kindly though..

Dect suffered emotional abuse and neglect from his mother after this situation unfolded. he was yelled at, and at the same time, he found out his dad was to be going away forever soon.. he wanted to at least have some fun before his dad had to leave but.. Dect never got that, because one day he woke up to talk with his dad and seen him gone.. he'd left
I wonder where he went..
he sure did like that bed, he never got up from it

Dect eventually caved and just became a detective to make his mom happy, planning to switch careers once she was out of his life.. however he never got the chance
