JSerra's Choir is run by Mrs. Jennifer Kheriaty (Director), Cat Forbush (Accompanist), and the Student Executive Board. Affiliated with JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, the JSerra Choir performs four main concerts a year, plus fun events such as Karaoke Nights, and our newly beloved "Java Lounge." There are many opportunities for students interested in choir, and no matter the student's experience, they will engage in a classroom full of love for singing and music. 

Advanced Womans Ensemble, our entry-level class, features students who will gain skills in sight reading, singing choral music, and learning to interact as a team to perform in various concerts and festivals. No audition is required! 

Chamber , our upper-level choir, features students who have an experience in sight reading and learning choral music. Led by the Executive Board, and Director, those who take this course will have valuable experience in the musical field, applicable to any college music curriculum. This Course is also considered an Honors Credit. Audition Required

JAMS, or our JSerra Arts Magnet Singers, features our exclusive Arts Magnet Students, Every Student in the Arts Magnet Choir Track is included. These students sing advanced music compared to other choirs and have exclusive opportunities to learn Barbershop Music, Jazz, Conducting, and more. Singers in this choir rehearse outside of school, demonstrating their musicianship skills through more advanced music and criteria! This program aids students who seriously consider a career in the field of Music. 

Every JSerra student who partakes in the Choir Program will walk away with skills of all kinds, from vocal technique to collaboration and leadership!
