Local Recycling Points
Since our original Guide, June 2019, more recycling units have been lost due to arson at the Aura Sports Centre in Windtown and excessive littering outside the banks at Johnstown Village and these have not been replaced with new venues.
We are still hopeful that a new recycling collection point will eventually be established at the Johnstown Shopping Centre since it's a prime location for the facility.

For a small entry fee at the gate the main facility is the Council Recycling Centre.
Please note that there are fees for 'non recyclable' items such as paints and childrens toys etc but keep an eye out for amnesty days where these can be off loaded without additional fees.
