The LGFA Lidl National Gaelic for Mothers and Others took place on 14th October in Naomh Mearnog in Portmarnock.
We caught up with Walterstown G4M Team Captain Joanne to tell us more about the finale event of the year.
The event was a great way to end a very successful first year for us.
Walterstown G4M made its first appearance this year and it was a great experience. It's all about meeting women from all walks of life, playing football and having fun.
From start to finish the day was very well organised and great craic.
This unique event which brought 102 teams together from all corners of Ireland in a celebration of recreational ladies football.
With an attendance of over 46k spectators this is a huge event and a highlight of the Mothers n Others year.
We had near perfect weather conditions which made for a great day out.
