My journey in life has honestly never been a straight path.
Growing up, I often felt like I was standing on the outside looking in. During my school years, I experienced bullying and judgement for many different reasons. Whether it was because I was autistic, had ADHD, the fact that I stuttered when I spoke, how I looked, the clothes I wore, or simply because I was different from everyone else, I often felt like I never truly belonged.
I struggled with feeling different from those around me. I felt like the outcast, the black sheep, the person who was always chosen last. I felt like the person who wasn’t naturally good at the things others seemed to enjoy, who didn’t share the same interests as my peers, whether that was football, rugby, or other activities that seemed to bring everyone else together.
For a long time, I felt like I was searching for my place in the world.
While others seemed to understand themselves, build friendships, discover their interests, and develop relationships, I struggled to understand myself, let alone the world around me.
Why didn’t I enjoy the same things as everyone else? Why didn’t I connect with the things that seemed to bring others together? These were questions I carried with me for years.
I was always searching for somewhere I truly belonged.
Losing both of my grandparents and three of my uncles before the age of 24 was another chapter that deeply affected me. It felt like, for the longest time, life was constantly testing me. I had already spent so much of my life trying to understand myself, navigating learning difficulties, mental health challenges, and anxiety, and then I had to face losing some of the people who meant the most to me.
It often felt like everything I had depended on was being taken away.
After my school years, moving into college and beyond, one of my biggest battles became learning to understand my own mind. There were times when everything felt overwhelming, where my thoughts became difficult to manage, and even getting through everyday life felt like a challenge.
But eventually, I found an outlet through creativity.
Creating things, capturing moments, and bringing ideas to life became a place where everything slowed down. At first, it was overwhelming, learning the technical side of things, understanding software, discovering how cameras worked, and figuring out how to turn ideas into reality.
But through patience, curiosity, and countless hours of experimenting, watching, learning, and listening, I slowly began to understand.
In those moments, the noise faded, and I found a sense of peace and clarity that I had been searching for.
Through photography and design, I discovered a way to express myself without needing to find the perfect words. Creativity became a space where I could be myself, explore my perspective, and connect with the world around me.
My journey has taught me that being different is not something to hide. It is something that shapes who we are.
Life can be difficult. It can be overwhelming. There will be moments where it feels like everything is working against you. But I have learned that there is always something waiting on the other side of those challenges.
I had to teach myself that.
Everything I know today, I taught myself through determination, curiosity, and persistence. There was no shortcut, no easy path, and no one simply handing me the answers. There were countless hours of experimenting, making mistakes, learning, and trying again.
And for that, I am proud of myself.

Photography, to me, has never just been about taking a picture.

My passion for photography comes from wanting to see the world differently. I have always been someone who notices the things others might pass by, the atmosphere of a place, the details in a scene, the emotions behind a moment. Photography gives me a way to capture those things and share my perspective with others.
Through my work, I aim to create images that do more than simply look good. I want them to make people stop, look closer, and feel something.
Whether I am photographing a person, an animal, a landscape, a vehicle, or a live event, my goal remains the same: to capture the character and emotion behind the subject.
Photography has given me a voice. It allows me to express creativity, tell stories, and connect with the world in a way that feels natural to me.
Every photograph is a chance to preserve a moment that would otherwise become a memory.
As I continue to grow as a photographer, my goal is to keep exploring new styles, learning new techniques, and challenging myself creatively.
I want to build a body of work that reflects not only what I see, but how I experience the world.
From intimate portraits to the energy of live events, from the smallest details in nature to the grandest landscapes, I want my photography to capture the moments that matter.

Every photographer has tools that help bring their creative vision to life. While the equipment itself does not create the photograph, understanding and making the most of those tools allows creativity to grow.
My current photography setup is built around versatility, allowing me to explore different styles of photography, from portraits and events to landscapes, architecture, and creative compositions.
Nikon D3200 DSLR
The Nikon D3200 is where my photography journey continues to grow. With its 24.2-megapixel sensor, it provides the detail and flexibility needed to capture high-quality images while allowing me to focus on developing my skills behind the camera.
Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
A lens that has become a key part of my creative process. With its wide f/1.8 aperture, it allows me to capture beautiful depth of field, natural-looking portraits, and atmospheric images, especially in challenging lighting conditions.
Sigma 10-20mm Wide Angle Lens
A lens that allows me to explore a completely different perspective. Perfect for landscapes, architecture, environmental shots, and creative compositions where capturing the scale and atmosphere of a scene is important.
2x K&F Concept Circular Polarising Filters (CPL)
Used to help control reflections, enhance contrast, and bring out deeper colours in my images. CPL filters are especially useful when photographing landscapes, skies, water, and outdoor environments.
I believe that creativity comes from understanding your tools and pushing them to their limits. Great photography is not created by the most expensive equipment, it comes from patience, practice, curiosity, and the ability to see a moment worth capturing. You don't need an all seeing and all dancing piece of kit to create truly beautiful pieces of art. I accquired this camera body and 50mm lens, but taking a chance at a 20p bet on a gambling website, and getting £200 out of it. The immediate thought was "I CAN BUY A CAMERA" and so I did. Here we are as a result of that!
This setup represents where I am today, but more importantly, it represents the journey I am on: constantly learning, improving, and finding new ways to tell stories through photography.
Graphic design has always been another way for me to express creativity.
Where photography allows me to capture moments that already exist, design allows me to create something entirely new. It gives me the opportunity to take an idea, a vision, or a feeling and transform it into something visual.
For me, great design is about more than making something look good. It is about communication. A logo, a brand identity, or a piece of artwork should tell a story, represent an idea, and create a lasting impression before a single word is read.
My passion for graphics comes from the process of turning imagination into reality. Taking a simple concept and developing it into something meaningful is what makes design so rewarding.
Whether it is creating a brand identity, designing graphics for digital platforms, creating promotional artwork, or developing visual concepts, my goal is always the same: to create work that feels unique, memorable, and personal.

The iPad Pro has become a powerful part of my creative workflow, giving me the freedom to design, draw, and experiment wherever inspiration strikes.
With its large, high-quality display and responsive performance, it provides the space and precision needed to create detailed artwork and develop design concepts.
Apple Pencil
The Apple Pencil allows me to bring a more natural, hands-on approach to digital design. The precision and control it provides make sketching ideas, refining concepts, and creating artwork feel much closer to traditional drawing.
It allows creativity to flow naturally, from the first rough idea to the final design.
Procreate
Procreate is the creative environment where many of my ideas begin. It allows me to sketch, illustrate, experiment with different styles, and develop artwork from simple concepts into finished pieces.
Whether creating original artwork, exploring logo ideas, or developing visual elements for a project, Procreate gives me the flexibility to experiment and push my creativity.

While the camera and creative equipment capture the starting point, software plays an important role in transforming those ideas into finished pieces. My workflow combines professional editing tools with a hands-on approach, allowing me to enhance my work while keeping the creative process personal.
Adobe Lightroom Classic
Lightroom Classic is the foundation of my photography workflow. I use it to organise, develop, and refine my images — adjusting colour, lighting, contrast, and atmosphere to bring out the story behind each photograph.
Adobe Photoshop
Photoshop allows me to take my images further, providing advanced editing tools for detailed adjustments, creative enhancements, compositing, and final refinements.
Topaz Photo Pro & Topaz Gigapixel
I use Topaz software as part of my finishing process, mainly for professional denoising, sharpening, and improving image quality where traditional editing has reached its limits.
These tools are used to enhance the photograph itself — not replace the creative process. My work remains focused on the decisions made behind the camera and the editing choices I make as the creator.
I do not use generative AI to create or alter my images. The goal is to preserve the authenticity of the photograph while using modern tools to achieve the best possible final result.
Adobe Illustrator
Illustrator is used for creating scalable vector designs, logos, branding elements, and artwork where precision and clean design are essential.
Adobe InDesign
InDesign allows me to create structured layouts and professional designs, from documents and publications to creative projects that require strong visual organisation.
Technology is constantly evolving, but the most important part of any creative process remains the person behind the work.
Software is a tool, it does not replace creativity, vision, or storytelling.
My aim is always to use these tools to enhance my ideas, refine my work, and create something meaningful that reflects my own perspective.
