Creating Artwork is Playtime!

I was raised by a creative mother who was a self taught oil painter. Playtime was always filled with creating things; shoebox cities, costumes, forts, and of course pictures. The feel of the creamy paint on the brush, the blank canvas waiting in the corner, and the next idea bouncing around in my head is still the best playroom ever.
