ERIC ON BASS
Eric Clough began playing electric bass at age sixteen. The son of a dedicated piano teacher, he was exposed to music of all kinds at an early age. In high school Eric played a variety of instruments, focusing on the bass and playing in different bands in and around central Massachusetts. Over the past few years he has performed primarily on the acoustic double bass and the electric upright bass with a focus on swing, latin, hardcore punk and bebop. His influences include: John Neves, John Lockwood, Kira Roessler, Charles Mingus and Ray Brown, among many others.
