"The Jade Book" was named after The Negro Motorist Green Book [Click the Link to view Original Green Book] which was a travel guide for African Americans but we decided to rename it to The Jade Book to match modern times and because Jade is a precious stone and we think The Jade Book has precious resources.
Our Mission: To support individuals facing housing insecurity by giving them and their families the tools to recognize risk early, navigate available services, and access the resources they need before and after crisis occurs.
