Arv’s health occupation has stemmed from traditional and various wellness sources. She became a registered nurse in 2006 and began her nursing career in Vancouver, British Columbia. She formerly practiced nursing in family health and urgent care.


In 2016, Arv entered the functional medicine and integrative health world, earning her Masters Degree in Nursing. Her areas of interest have included: hair restoration; sleep management; weight loss; custom thyroid management; bio-identical hormones (men and women); testosterone replacement therapy; women’s health issues (PMS, peri-menopause/menopause, endometriosis, PCOS).


Under the teachings of renowned educator Dr. Neal Rouzier, MD, Arv completed the course “Mastering the Protocols for Optimization of Hormone Replacement Therapy.” As a functional medicine practitioner, Arv specializes in disease prevention, including how to balance hormones and metabolism.


Arv has witnessed how diseases impact low hormone levels, inactive lifestyles and unhealthy diets. She is keen on living a healthy regime, which includes yoga, bicycling, fresh air and expanding her medical expertise. She believes that restoring one’s health should take an individualized approach. Arv is available to consult with patients via in-person or video conference appointments.



Helen proudly graduated with honors from George Brown College’s nursing program in 2010. As a role model in the esthetic medicine field, Helen commonly mentors new nurses. She has over 20 years of experience and continues to take cadaver and pharmaceutical courses.


Helen’s career began in 1992 in Toronto, when she worked alongside Dr. Larry Freemont in hair restoration. During 1995 in Austria, she fulfilled her requirements in laser studies under Dr. Eli Tamir. She also assisted in surgical/non-surgical anti-aging treatments with Dr. David Ellis in Toronto.


In 1998, Helen focused on injectable and non-invasive skin rejuvenation at Dr. Lorne Segall’s Toronto private practice. In this role, Helen performed a variety of services, including medical needling scar reduction and laser modalities such as Yang, Alexandrite, IPL, and more.


Furthermore, Helen contributed to research on acne rosacea and a 532nm DioLite laser with retinaldehyde. The study, which was conducted by Dr. David Ellis and Dr. Linda Maxwell, was featured in the Journal of Dermatology for its inventive use of cosmeceuticals and laser modalities.


Helen is a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario, the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, the Canadian Society of Phlebology and the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine.
