— Book Recs —

All I can say is that Katee Robert has always been an instant buy for me. "Queen Takes Rose" is a lesbian, BDSM, fantasy romance book and I shamelessly read it in a day. It's a standalone between the two love interests Aurora and Malone, and my god is it cute yet steamy yet captivating all at once. Do yourselves a favour and go read it and everything else by her!! 

I know that there are a lot of mixed reviews for this series as a whole, but I absolutely loved it personally. In a fantasy book, it had the perfect balance of smut with humor with plot I was looking for. I'll admit, I didn't love book 4 (for different reasons than everyone else), however I'm really hoping the author will redeem herself in books 5 and 6. This series had me laughing, crying and falling in love with the characters at every turn, and while I can't say too much since I don't want to spoil anything, Kieran and Reaver will forever be my favourites.

This series is like one big mindfuck written down on paper. I first picked up book 1 because of the fact it was a retelling of King Midas which was so interesting to me, but I stayed for the characters, the plot twists, and the romance that really started to evolve in "Gleam". I will definitely be with this series until the end.

I'm currently reading the "Zodiac Academy" series and I am absolutely loving it. Not only is the plot responsible for my immense lack of sleep for the past week, but the amount of laughter these books have evoked from me so far is embarrassing. Definitely in my top 5 favourites now!! 

I take back what I said. This series tore my heart out, stomped on it, put it back in my chest just to do it all over again. Still laughed... it was just through my tears... and frustration.

"The Ritual" had me so insanely hooked that I read the entire book in a day. I make no apologies. 

Also, if you enjoy reading dark romance and haven't read "There are No Saints" yet, then what the hell are you waiting for? It was spicy, intriguing, and had such an addictive plot that the smut was just an added bonus. I've reread this duology twice now and can guarantee I'll be reading them again in the near future. Just please make sure you check the trigger list beforehand as all of these books are definitely trigger heavy in content.

While I read all of these a long time ago, I remember them being equally hot as they were captivating. "Her Soul To Take" in specific was really good, but definitely trigger heavy. I thought they were all worth the mentions either way!

All four of these are reverse harem duologies with both amazing plots and spice. Overall, they were really easy reads, and I do love a good discreet cover as well, so I wasn't complaining.
